Biography
Debbie is a native Arizonan and grew up on a farm in the west valley. She has been married to Marc for 40 years and has two children and three grandchildren. Her daughter graduated from Valley Christian High School in 2003. She enjoys reading, traveling, new technology, and hanging out with her grandchildren.
Before joining Valley in 2005, Debbie owned and operated several successful businesses and served on the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council.
She joined Valley originally as part of the Fine Arts department and transitioned to the VINE department in 2013. She has significant knowledge and expertise in working with students with special needs and in 2008 organized a support group for families of teens and young adults on the Autism Spectrum which became the leading non-profit organization in Arizona for that population.
She feels privileged to be a part of shaping high school students into responsible, conscientious adults.
