Bradley Gym Refresh Project:

$478,422 | COMPLETE!

The Bradley family built the gym on the Chandler Campus as the first building erected. They believed it was vital for ministry and community. Our VCS community has demonstrated incredible generosity at this year’s Legacy Auction and during the 2023 year-end season, we raised the entire amount needed for the initial phase of the Bradley Gym Refresh: $250,000. Because of the outpouring of support, many in our community rallied to simultaneously fund additional needs in the Bradley Gym, alongside initial support to construct a gym on the K-8 campus. The additional needs identified in the high school gym put that final project cost at $478,422.

Thanks to additional generosity from our community… the entire amount was raised! Praise be to God. In addition to this wonderful generosity, another VCS family committed to renovating the girls locker room in the Bradley Gym while the entire building was under construction.

K-8 Gym Renovation Project:

$850,000 | Fundraising in progress

The final major piece to complete the initial phase of our move-in to the Tempe campus is the installation of a gymnasium on the campus. And we are so grateful to already have $688,000 committed to this project! You may already know that a gym existed previously on this campus when it belonged to Bethany Community Church, and we will be renovating the “A” building to reclaim this space for a VCS gymnasium. This regulation-sized junior high gym will serve a multitude of daily uses.
