K-4 Fine Arts Appreciation
Each quarter will be alternating between art, instrumental and performance of vocal and theatre. In Art (quarter 1), students will be learning about different concepts of art, famous artists and their masterpieces. All art projects will be done in class. Various art projects will be displayed at the end of 2nd quarter at the all-school music performances. Students will be able to take home all of their art at the end of 2nd quarter after they have been displayed.
In Instrumental (quarter 3) students will be learning different musical concepts such as solfege, rhythms, proper techniques, and playing instruments. In quarters 2 and 4, students will prepare for our two big shows of the year! There will be all-school performances with K-4 students that are always amazing; this is an awesome opportunity for students to share what they have learned in music class and share the gospel with those who attend.
