Twenty-three of our National Art Honor Society students participated in outreach with the Memory Project for Haitian refugees.
The students drew and painted portraits of Haitian refugees still displaced from Hurricane Matthew in 2016. The students also wrote notes to the refuges in their native Haitian Creole. In addition, the students donated money necessary to cover the costs to deliver the art.
