We are preparing for the 2023-24 school year and would like feedback from your student on what electives they are interested in taking. Please note this is an interest survey for our students. There may be some instances when a specific elective has reached a designated cap and therefore adding additional students is not possible. The school reserves the right to schedule students to certain electives if deemed necessary due to scheduling logistics, except band and strings. Students must remain in their designated elective class at minimal one semester. Schedule changes will not be granted prior to this time per administration. If your student would like to change their elective for the second semester, requests must be made by December 1st. Any schedule changes are subject to class space.
*Staffing–Please note: We are currently looking for a part-time Art teacher (approximately 11 am – 3:30 pm), as well as a 5-8 Band and Strings teacher – please let us know if you know of anyone who may be willing to serve in these roles at VCS! Students will automatically be enrolled in the following:
- Homeroom PE
- Homeroom Computer Tech
- Homeroom Art
*Please note that if your student is enrolled in VINE, that their elective schedule will have at least two periods during each week for VINE Study Hall.
