At the beginning of June, a group of 24 Valley Christian students, graduates, faculty, and family, took the trip of a lifetime to Italy.

They were able to stroll the streets of Assisi, float the canals of Venice, marvel at the Vatican, swim in the Adriatic Sea, view the wonders of Florence, and live Shakespeare in Verona.

Other high points of the trip included visiting a farm in Tuscany, learning ancient methods of glass-blowing and leather working, viewing Basilicas, churches, and museums, as well as seeing the Roman Colosseum and The Forum.

Local meals were served, including pizza, pasta, gelato, tiramisu, and espresso.

It was an amazing time of fellowship, fun, and family bonding.
