The Valley Christian boys basketball team has started their season with thrilling performances, showcasing their determination and skill on the court. With a mix of dominant wins and hard-fought battles, the team has proven they are ready to compete at a high level this year.
The season tipped off on November 20th with a commanding 67-45 victory over Blue Ridge, followed by an impressive 92-50 win against Globe on November 26th. At the Fear the Hop Thanksgiving Tournament, the team demonstrated their competitive edge with wins over Paradise Honors (71-46) and Cienega (76-66) before a narrow 71-66 loss to Mesa in a closely contested game.
The Trojans quickly bounced back, securing a 76-67 win against Highland on November 30th and an 84-43 victory over Apache Junction on December 3rd. A thrilling 74-69 win against Regis Jesuit showcased their resilience and ability to perform under pressure. Despite a tough 62-63 loss to Fossil Ridge (CO) on December 21st, the boys left everything on the court in a hard-fought game.
With their sights set on returning to the championship, the boys basketball team is demonstrating the grit, talent, and teamwork needed to make a deep postseason run.
