Biography
I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona but grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before starting as an academic advisor, I was a professional counselor and worked with a variety of modalities to help support clients. I graduated from GCU with a master’s in professional counseling and got my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. I recently got married in April 2023 to my amazing husband, Jake Young, and we are excited to be in the east valley of Queen Creek.
My husband and I have two dogs, a French Bulldog named Rocco and a Long-Haired Dachshund named Ginger. My favorite hobbies are to travel and explore new areas within the city and to travel around the world. I have been to about 30 different countries and would love to add to that list in the future.
