Biography
Marie grew up in Michigan and moved to Arizona in 2012. Since then, she has loved exploring the southwest via hiking! Marie’s love for travel has brought her to many different countries and has allowed her to experience cultures outside her own! The Spanish language is a profession and a hobby for Marie. She loves to use the language to volunteer, travel, connect and learn! One of Marie’s fondest experiences was studying abroad in Spain. Marie has taught for seven+ years…six at Basis Peoria Charter and one at Mountainside Middle School. In Marie’s spare time, she enjoys writing music, thrift shopping and repurpose crafting, paddle boarding, hiking, traveling, reading and hanging out with friends.
