Chandler, AZ – This week, Valley Christian Schools’ Dean of Academic Advising, Michelle Cefola, and High School Science Teacher and Department Chair, Dr. Lisa Miller, received a special honor from the Arizona Cardinals Football Club. In recognition of their incredible impact on education, both were invited to attend the Cardinals’ home opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, September 15. Along with game tickets and parking passes, Michelle and Dr. Miller will enjoy pregame sideline access with exclusive field passes as part of their recognition.

Michelle Cefola is an exceptional member of the VCS community, known for her unwavering dedication to students. Last year, the yearbook was dedicated to her, a testament to the love and care she consistently shows to the school. Dr. Lisa Miller, a valued member of the faculty since 2008, is a passionate educator who deeply cares about her students. Her contributions as both a teacher and a department chair have made a lasting impact on the VCS community.

What makes this recognition even more special is that it was initiated by a VCS alumnus. The nomination was driven by the lasting legacy that both Michelle and Dr. Miller have left on their students, long after they graduated from high school. This honor speaks not only to their dedication within the classroom but also to the profound influence they have had on the lives of students.

Valley Christian Schools is proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition for two of our most cherished staff members.
