Chandler, AZ – Valley Christian Schools is buzzing with excitement as Homecoming Week begins! This special week, an expression of our value of lifelong community, brings students, families, and alumni together for fun-filled activities—all with the aim of glorifying Christ.
The halls are festively decorated, and the theme “Home Sweet Homecoming” fills the air. This year’s schedule is packed with events designed to unite and uplift our community:
- Monday: High school students start the week on a sweet note with flavored lemonades and Italian sodas provided by the National Honor Society.
- Tuesday: The K-8 campus joins the excitement with a lively homecoming pep assembly, led by enthusiastic high schoolers.
- Wednesday: Competition heats up with a Spikeball tournament, and students can enjoy walking tacos for a delicious mid-week treat. That evening, everyone is invited to the much-anticipated annual Night of Worship, where alumni will lead our students in songs of praise.
- Friday: The day is packed with excitement, beginning with pizza and a spirited staff volleyball game. The festivities continue into the evening with a community-wide Block Party, the Alumni Walk, and the crowning of our Homecoming Royalty. The night concludes with the much-anticipated Homecoming Football Game.
- Saturday: Students will end the week on a high note, dancing the night away at the Homecoming Dance.
