Introducing Valley Square
K-4’s Reimaged Space for our Students and Community
Valley Square is our current outdoor space on the K-4 side of the Tempe Campus. This transformation of Valley Square includes a purposeful space that is leveled and reimaged with expansive turf areas and shade, more functional and intentional playground equipment, a cleaner and more vibrant recreational area, and more space to welcome VCS families onto our campus.
Our K-4 Valley Square has served us well in recent years, but our desire is that it would be an even better space where our children learn about Jesus in their play, PE time, fellowship with one another, and their recess time. We also hope for it to be a place where families gather. Our 2024 Year-End Campaign is dedicated to the transformation of the whole K-4 Square.
When we purchased this property from another Christian school five years ago, we knew we were buying a well-loved “house.” With changes like this one, we believe we will be turning this space into our home. This Year-End Campaign was launched at the Legacy Auction with generous lead gifts.
Our goal is to raise $800,000 for this transformation with an estimated total cost of $1.2M.
It is the dream and desire of our administration, board, K-4 faculty and staff, and our entire K-12 organization to join with families to transform Valley Square. As our young ones start their K-12 education at Valley Christian Schools, let’s provide them a place to have the time of their lives while learning to follow their Savior.
