ACSTO, Arizona’s largest STO and Valley Christian’s preferred STO partner, recently released statistics from the 2019-20 school year, and our families knocked it out of the park once again! We were thrilled that our donors helped VCS – and, most importantly, our families – to benefit so much from this program:
- VCS families ranked #1 in average ACSTO donations per total students at $3,780, and #1 in average ACSTO donations per applicant at $4,681
- VCS ranked #1 in the YOY percentage increase (26.5%) and gross increase ($538,170) in overall giving, meaning our many new families participated right away
- Earlier this year, VCS became the first school in Arizona to surpass $25 million in tax credit scholarships for our families from ACSTO and its sister organization, School Choice Arizona, since the first award in 1999
Praise God for His provision, and thank you to ACSTO for being such a wonderful partner in making Christian education an affordable option for so many families. This year alone, ACSTO awarded scholarships to more than 8,000 students from more than 17,000 donors in Arizona, including more than 1,800 donors at VCS.
