We are pleased to announce that Robyn Bellerson will take over a newly created position for the school, Director of Admissions and Student Scholarships. Robyn will begin transitioning into the new role in January while also teaching two English classes for the second semester.
Tim O’Brien and Erika Jackson will be joining the Valley Christian faculty in January.
Tim O’Brien will be teaching Geometry, Robotics and Intro to Engineering. Tim was born and raised in Michigan and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he was a Chief Petty Officer and a nuclear trained electronics technician on submarines for 11 years. Tim and his wife, Brenda, have been married for 33 years and have four children and nine grandchildren. Tim has been a teacher for over 20 years, the majority in Christian schools, teaching math and science.
Erika Jackson returns to VCHS and will be teaching our College. Career. Life. class and will serve as a DEAN for the second semester. Erika previously taught Spanish at Valley Christian and helped coach cross country and has been a regular substitute teacher since her kids were born.
Kelly Clausen will be moving from her DEAN position into Student Council for second semester.
