Valley Christian Schools was honored to welcome the 43rd President of the United States, President George W. Bush, to our Foundations Dinner tonight at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass.
President George W. Bush graciously talked about leadership, his family, his years in the White House, including moments surrounding September 11, his faith and how it affected him as a leader, and shared many more insights and anecdotes in a 45-minute moderated discussion with Dr. Greg Tonkinson, Valley Christian’s Spiritual Life Director.
Tonight’s historic event also featured entertainment from Third Day’s Mac Powell and his new band, Mac Powell and the Family Reunion, remarks from Grand Canyon University President Brian Mueller, and the VCS leadership outlining the plans for our upcoming capital campaign.
