As our enrollment has grown in recent years and we have added the junior high, it has become increasingly obvious that Valley Christian needs to grow with our community. One of our initiatives in our strategic plan, Valley Christian 2020, was Facility Expansion. Since August 2016, our Building Committee has been hard at work to determine the best setup for the long-term success of our school. This has included solutions within our current campus footprint and also expanding to a surrounding property.
Through God’s provision and plan, we are excited to announce that we have purchased 14 acres of land just south of our high school campus to facilitate our school’s growth.
Our Chandler Campus Expansion represents the first phase of projects that will allow VCS to better serve our students, faculty, and our community. The purchase of 14 acres nearly doubles the size of our current high school campus in Chandler and gives the school an increased street presence along 56th Street.
We know you will have questions about where new buildings will go and what the campus master plan will look like, and we are are excited to share more details of our re-imagined campus in the coming weeks and months as our Board of Directors, Administration, and Building Committee work together to finalize plans.
