Transportation
Transportation at VCS
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with CharterUp to fulfill our transportation requirements for the 2025-2026 school year. CharterUp is the largest and fastest-growing charter and shuttle bus service provider in North America. CharterUp is contracted with hundreds of schools across the country to satisfy their transportation needs. We look forward to taking advantage of their industry knowledge and consistency. Not only will there no longer be issues with bus breakdowns or unavailable drivers, but CharterUp provides GeoTracking on their buses so you will always know where your students are while in their service. Valley Bus Service
We are pleased to inform our families that we are not changing any pricing from previous years. The usage rate will continue to be a cost of $150 per student, per month. The cost for 2 or more students in the same household will be $250 per month. Please note this rate is not dependent on actual usage and will not be prorated or refunded. Agreement to transportation services will be contracted with families on a semester basis. Current families will have priority at 2nd semester enrollment.

Applications:
To ensure a seat for your student on the bus service for the 2025-26 school year, you must submit an application by no later than June 13th.
Applying allows us to plan accordingly for the 2025-26 transportation needs as well as to confirm your child’s seat in advance of the school year. We will confirm via email that your child has a daily seat on the bus service before the start of the school year.
Transportation Scholarships:
We want to do all we can to provide a sustainable and affordable solution for our families, so we do have a transportation-specific financial aid option. Families may apply for this option using the same method already in place for “Internal Financial Aid” (visit our “Learn More About Tuition & Financial Aid” page and see “#4: Internal Financial Aid” under the ‘Tuition Assistance & Scholarship Opportunities’ section for more info). Families are invited to complete the same application process; the only additional step is for families to specifically note “Requesting transportation-specific aid.”

Priority seating will be determined as follows:
- Those that are participating in the paid service.
- Families with students at both campuses.
- Families with multiple students.
- Date of application.
