Valley Christian High School seniors Garrett deFisser, Megan Timmer and Bethany Wolph each signed their National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, November 9 during a ceremony at lunch in the Bradley Gym.
Garrett deFisser ’17 committed to play golf and continue his education at William & Mary in Virginia. deFisser has been a leader on three consecutive state championship golf teams. He also is a member of the Trojans’ basketball team.
Megan Timmer ’17 and Bethany Wolph ’17 each committed to play basketball and continue their educations at Embry-Riddle University in Prescott. Embry-Riddle head basketball coach Becky Burke made the trip down to VCHS on Wednesday to comment on each of the girls and her anticipation of an immediate impact on the Embry-Riddle program. The duo have led the Trojans to back-to-back D-III state runner-up finishes and have earned numerous All-State and All-Region honors.
Congratulations to our three Trojan student-athletes on their commitment to continue their education at two great institutions while continuing to play athletics.
