Biography
Tyler Trathen was born and raised in California. He went to Yucaipa High School (Yucaipa, Ca) and went on to receive an academic and athletic scholarship to play volleyball at King University in Bristol, TN. Following his collegiate career, Tyler finished his Undergraduate at Azusa Pacific University in Exercise Science. He then completed his Masters in Education in 2016.
Tyler moved to Arizona in 2019 and worked with Chandler Unified the following school year. Tyler got married to his wife Ashley Rekittke (’09) in January 2021. Ashley works in Marketing in Gilbert, AZ. Tyler loves to spend time with his family and play volleyball and pickleball.
