Biography
Robin grew up in Rockford, Illinois, where he was part of a Nazarene church and enjoyed playing basketball, golf and football. He graduated from high school in 1986 and went on to study Business Administration at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California.
Robin received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from PLNU in 1990. From there, he continued his studies at Point Loma in the area of education, initially working at Hoover High School.
In 1992, Robin joined the staff at Pan American Christian Academy (PACA) in São Paulo, Brazil as a business and English teacher, which he did for three years. Robin married his Brazilian wife, Fernanda, in 1995 and returned to the USA to live for one year. In July, 1996 Robin returned to PACA as the high school principal, which he did for 8 years. In 2003 he received his Master of Science Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University.
In July 2004, Robin went to work at Colegio Internacional de Carabobo, located in Valencia, Venezuela, where he served two years as the 6 – 12 Principal. It was at this time the superintendent at PACA asked Robin to return to PACA as the assistant superintendent, which he was for one year. Robin then went on to serve as the school’s superintendent for thirteen years.
Robin and Fernanda have two boys, Rafael and Gabriel (VCS Class of 2023).
Robin enjoys reading, surfing, playing basketball, volleyball and golf. He has been part of Christian education for twenty-five years, embracing the chance to serve God through this incredible calling. He is honored to be serving as the Valley Christian Schools High School Principal.
