Biography
Mikayla grew up in Missouri before her family relocated to Arizona. She attended Grand Canyon University earning both of her degrees in education. For three years she taught middle school at an inner city school in Phoenix. Her first year at Valley included being one of their junior teachers and student council advisors. No she serves as the assistant varsity cheer coach and the K-8 admissions manager, helping families ensure their place at Valley! Outside of school you will most likely find Mikayla listening to Taylor Swift! She enjoys being outside hiking or running, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and being surrounded by others.
