Biography
Meghan grew up in the heart of Northern California, where gold country charm met small-town grit—and she’s brought that same energy and enthusiasm to everything she does! At Valley, Meghan is deeply involved in supporting both students and staff through her passion for education, community, and creating spaces where all learners thrive.
Meghan enjoys spending her weekends staying active with her husband Justin, cheering for the LSU Tigers (Geaux Tigers!) and exploring . Meghan’s favorite ways to unwind include teaching fitness classes, running, and finding time to laugh and recharge with her favorite people.
Before joining the Valley family, Meghan wore many hats in education—teaching grades TK through 8th, serving as a reading specialist, and taking on administrative leadership roles in public, private, rural, and independent schools. She’s been an advocate for all learners, no matter the setting.
A former collegiate athlete, Meghan now channels her competitive spirit into coaching youth sports, volunteering through Junior League, and staying involved in school accreditation work. She has presented nationally on best practices for self-regulation in classrooms and continues to champion student wellness and engagement with heart and expertise.
