Biography
Makayla was born and raised in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2021 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Psychology. This will be her third year in Arizona as well as her third year teaching Elementary. Makayla attends Scottsdale Bible Church and is involved in their Young Adults group.
Makayla is thrilled to be a part of this team at Valley and teach the K-4 Computer class. It brings her joy working with children and she is excited to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Her favorite things to do are go to the movies, play pickleball, and swim at the pool.
