Biography
Kit was born and raised in California. Growing up she enjoyed all sports but eventually had to focus on swimming. As a young adult in California, she was very active in church ministry, specifically worship. Kit worked in an accounting firm and was a competitive swim coach. In her mid-twenties, she moved to Australia for four years. While there, she was employed at a Christian school, working in the business office and as a coach while remaining active in church leadership and worship.
Back in the USA (California and Texas), she continued serving at Christian schools in many roles: substitute, coach, teacher, Director of Operations and Director of College Advising. She had a few years refereeing high school basketball as well. She also spent many years planting a church in Northern California. In 2011, Kit began a very successful role at a software company earning significant business as the Vice President of Client Partnerships. Kit was responsible for cultivating relationships for large organizations leading them to a long partnership. In 2017, Kit received the company’s coveted award for Excellence in Sales and Business.
As the Director of Development at Valley Christian Schools, Kit leads Valley Christian’s annual development efforts.
Kit enjoys swimming, running, hiking, watching pro sports and music. However, her greatest joy is her family.
