VALLEY CHRISTIAN ROBOTICS
Home of the 2015 FTC World Champions! Our Robotics program is part of an organization called FIRST, “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.” The organization is aimed at kids and teens ranging from preschool students through seniors in high school. It is divided up into four categories: FLL JR., FLL, FTC, and FRC. Valley’s Robotics program is a part of FTC. In addition to being a credit-earning class for students to take, it is also an extra-curricular opportunity for students.
The first team, Valley X Robotics (2844), was founded in 2008 during FTC Challenge, “FACE OFF,” and we entered our rookie year with four members. A second team, Trojan Robotics (8640) was founded in 2014.
Valley Christian High School features TWO Robotics teams!
