Events

Our students build lifelong friendships with their classmates and teachers.  Our tight-knit community of current and alumni students and their families sets our school apart.

Among the many ways we provide the opportunity for our students and parents to come together as a community is Homecoming Week, our home athletic games, school dances, pep assemblies, Lip Sync, Thanksgiving Vespers and Trojan Tournament.

Homecoming Week

The entire Trojan community comes together for a week of events building up to the Homecoming Block Party and football game.

A night of worship and pep rally lead up to the block party and game.  Homecoming Week then ends on Saturday with the Homecoming Dance for students.

Pep Assemblies

Pep rallies exist to increase school spirit and raise awareness about Valley Christian’s various sports and clubs. These are run by the Student Council and often incorporate performances from cheer, band, choir, and other groups. Assemblies celebrate successes and will often tie in with events such as Homecoming.

Spiritual Emphasis Week

Spiritual Emphasis Week is an entire week devoted to renewing the students’ walks with Christ.  Not only is there incredible worship time and speakers, but students are able to personally apply spiritual truths to their own lives through student-led small groups, workshops and classes.

Trojan Tournament

The ultimate bragging-rights event for the VC community, Trojan Tournament is an annual competition pitting classes against each other. In front of fellow students and stands filled with family and friends, team members show off their talents, athleticism, passion, camaraderie and school pride.
