On Friday and Saturday, students from our Fine Arts program auditioned for the Regional Music Ensembles. We are proud to announce that the following students made the Regional Honor Ensembles.
Katarina Woldt was selected for the Regional Choir and was selected as the 1st chair for the Euphonium. This is the first time in school history we have had a student earn first chair in the Regional Band. Joining Katarina in the Regional Band is Megan Gomez.
Jasmine Plummer and Meiling Liknes each were named to the Regional Orchestra.
We had nine students earn spots on the Regional Choir. Jeremy Ellis, Jonny Foley, Anna Giek, Ben Maka, Matti Maret, Jayce Maxwell, Michaela Schuler, Evan Shiel, and Carson Slater all were named to the choir. Valley Christian had the highest percentage of students of any school in the West Region make the Regional Choir who auditioned.
