Over the weekend students from our Fine Arts program auditioned for the West Regional Honor Choir, Band and Orchestra. A school-record 13 students between the programs were selected and will participate at the regional festival on February 17-18.
Eight students were selected to the Regional Honor Choir. Anna Giek (6th chair), Gracie Gentile (6th), Caden Tonkinson (8th), Jonny Foley (13th), Tyler Carroll (20th), Justin Kuiper (22nd), Josh Burgess (second alternate) and Jacob Waterhouse (fifth alternate) were all recognized.
Five students were selected to either the Regional Honor Band or Orchestra, including three freshmen. LJ Gomez was selected as one of two bassoons and Jasmine Plummer was selected as a cellist in the Regional Honor Orchestra.
Megan Gomez was selected as clarinet, Jeremy Lara was selected as a second alternate on bass clarinet and Katarina Woldt was selected as a second alternate on baritone in the Regional Honor Band.
