The R.L. Johnson Family Foundation is committed to Christian education and seeks to support middle school (grades 5-8) families who need tuition assistance. VCS is grateful to Mr. R.L. Johnson and his foundation for their generosity. Now that Mr. Johnson has passed to the Lord, his family continues his legacy through this intentional and tremendous gift to families.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

Multiple financial need-based scholarship for a current VCS family with students in grades 5-8.

AWARD AMOUNT

$5,000, one-time scholarship, to be awarded and distributed annually.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must have a child enrolled in VCS grades 5-8.
Applicant families must have a FACTS Grant and Aid application completed and on file for the school year the scholarship applies.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY

Current FACTS Grant and Aid application on file.
The application window is July 1 – July 31.
Recipients will be announced in August.
The recipients of this scholarship will be credited for the 2025-26 school year.

Please note: The award may be credited toward the family’s overall school balance.
