Chandler, AZ- It was a week of joy and celebration at Valley Christian Schools as students across our two campuses marked significant milestones in their educational journeys. The school hosted its high school graduation, 8th-grade promotion, and kindergarten graduation, each filled with moving performances, worship, and encouragement, reflecting its commitment to faith and education.
High School Graduation
The high school graduation ceremony was a highlight of the week, celebrating the achievements of our senior class. The class of 2024 had 133 graduates who will go on to be VCS alumni. Each student received an average a month of $59,105 in scholarships, with the whole class walking away with $7.9 million in scholarships. These students are ready to be culture changers for Christ across all 46 different colleges they were accepted to. The graduates’ families are proud, and the VCS staff and faculty will cheer them on for days to come.
8th Grade Promotion
The 8th Grade Promotion ceremony was a vibrant event, recognizing the transition from 8th grade to high school. The students were celebrated for their accomplishments and readiness to embark on the next phase of their academic journey. Their promotion was marked by a series of performances and worship. It was a moment of gratitude and anticipation as we look forward to seeing these students grow and thrive in high school.
Kindergarten Graduation
The youngest members of our school community also had their special moment in the spotlight. The kindergarten graduation was an adorable and touching event, showcasing the growth and development of our little ones. Dressed in miniature caps and gowns, the kindergarteners delighted the audience with songs, and poems, that highlighted their creativity and joy. 1 Timothy 4:12 says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity,” their teachers taught them just that. We are so proud of our Kindergarten class.
Congratulations to all our graduates and promoted students- The unfolding of God’s grace in your educational journey is inspiring.
