The Max Boatin Memorial Endowment Scholarship

Open for application on May 1st.

On March 4, 2026, the Boatin family was involved in a tragic car accident on the 101. Michelle and Brady were heading home from VCS basketball practice with Max at the time. Our hearts are broken that Max passed away on March 6th at 12:57pm in the hands of the Lord. We pray for the Boatin family as they process the unimaginable.

The VCS community has rallied around the Boatin family in an amazing way in the days since the accident. The family has requested that any support for their family be directed toward honoring Max’s legacy through the Max Boatin Memorial Endowment Scholarship established at VCS. This scholarship is intended to honor Max’s legacy as a young and energetic warrior for Christ.
