The Jessie Mae Jones Scholarship
Open for application on November 1st.
The Jones family has created a scholarship in honor of God’s faithfulness. Every day before her five children left for school, Jessie Mae Jones gathered the family for prayer. She taught her children to trust God, and she nurtured them with the Word of God, always pointing them to the Word for answers to life’s challenges.
As a result, she and her children experienced the faithfulness of our loving God! The Jones family wants young people to experience the riches that come from a relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With the Word of God as a guide, the scholarship offers the chance to experience the value of knowing the Lord. The prayer of Jessie Mae’s family is that the recipients of the scholarship learn the value of following Jesus Christ and not the world.
Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may promote you at the proper time, slamming all your cares on His back, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
“God considers your problems to be His responsibility.”
