If your student is interested in studying the arts in college, be sure to consider the following:
The Trinity Arts Experience is an opportunity for juniors and seniors interested in fine art, art education, graphic design, music, or theatre to experience the arts at Trinity Christian College. This free event will be held on Thursday evening, November 13, through Friday afternoon, November 14. The Trinity Arts Experience educates high school students about majors in the arts at Trinity and introduces them to the arts in Chicago. Seniors who attend the Trinity Arts Experience are also eligible for scholarships in art, music, or theatre ranging from $500 to $5000. Art students wishing to apply for this scholarship must submit 7-10 digital images. Students in music and theater will audition live during their visit. Students will get to stay overnight in Trinity’s residence halls, and seniors living 300+ miles from Trinity can get up to $200 towards the cost of their airfare.
Students can register online at www.trinity.edu/visit under Trinity Arts Experience. Registration is open until Monday, November 10. Please direct any questions about the Trinity Arts Experience to Emily Mitchell, our Campus Visit Coordinator at 708.239.4833 or [email protected]. Please feel free to contact me with questions about music auditions or Trinity’s music department.
