Grand Canyon University held a TEDx event at the Grand Canyon Arena on Thursday. TED is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline, technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. Those talks are available for viewing at TED.com. In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
The event was organized by a group of student leaders at GCU, including Valley Christian alumni Brendan Dyer and Dom Pachuilo.
Valley Christian Spiritual Life Director Dr. Greg Tonkinson was selected to present at the event. Also chosen to present was VCHS alumnus Stephen Parisi.
