The Timothy John Garney Memorial Scholarship

Open for application on November 1st.

The Cedillos family has created a scholarship in honor of Timothy John Garney.

Timothy “Tim” Garney was a beloved father, grandfather, mentor, and friend who passed away from glioblastoma in March 2024.

He was a great supporter of his grandsons’ education at Valley Christian, providing both physical and spiritual support.

Tim loved riding his mountain bikes, playing racquetball and pickleball, and watching sports with his children and grandchildren.

He retired from many years of service with Zebra Technologies but continued to keep busy assisting with his son-in-law’s business.

The Timothy John Garney Memorial Scholarship is open for application to any student attending Valley Christian Schools to receive a Christian education.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2nd Timothy 4:7
