Over the weekend students from our Fine Arts program auditioned for the West Regional Honor Band, Choir, and Orchestra. We had 11 students from our programs selected to participate at the regional festival on February 16-17.
Four students were named to the Regional Honor Band: Meiling Liknes (2nd chair clarinet), Megan Gomez (5th chair clarinet), Michael Drummond (21st chair clarinet), and Jeremy Lara (2nd alternate bass clarinet).
We had six students earn spots Region Honor Choir: Anna Giek (6th chair soprano), Tyler Carroll (9th chair bass), Caden Tonkinson (11th chair tenor), Jonny Foley (11th chair bass), Katarina Woldt (17th chair alto), and Brianna Widger (24th chair soprano).
Jasmine Plummer earned a spot on the West Region Honor Orchestra as the 9th chair cello.
