Distinguished Young Women of Arizona is a scholarship program for girls near the beginning of their Senior year.
If you have not heard of this opportunity, please visit the website at Distinguishedyw.org. DYW is a national program with a representative chosen from each State to compete on a national level in Mobile, AL.
The only requirements are a minimum GPA of 3.5 and being in the graduating class of 2018.
The areas of adjudication are: Academics, Judges interview, Performing Talent, Fitness and Self-Expression (answering an on-stage question). The participants also attend life-skills workshops, listen to inspirational guest speakers, participate in community service and participate in a great performance for family and friends. Our program date is August 26, 2017 at Higley Center for the Performing Arts.
