K-4 Fine Arts Appreciation

K-4 Music Experience
All of our K-4 students will participate in weekly music classes that will provide a well-rounded introduction to music appreciation that aligns with Arizona State Standards. Lessons are presented in a Christ-centered environment that are fun and engaging. Students will participate in performances throughout the year to include Christmas and Spring Spectacular.
K-4 Fine Arts Experience
All of our K-4 students will participate in a weekly art class where students are offered multifaceted, age-appropriate lessons that develop critical thinking, creative confidence, hands-on skills, visual literacy, self-esteem and an appreciation for other cultures. This course uses the Art in Action curriculum and is facilitated by parent volunteers. Completed student artwork will be showcased in the classroom as well as throughout the year during special events. All finished artwork will be stored in individual student portfolios that will be sent home at the end of the year.
