Valley Christian graduate Ally Cheatham ’11 was named to the Big 12 Conference’s All-Academic 1st Team. The senior at Baylor University is a member of the #1 ranked Acrobatics and Tumbling squad. She earned 2nd Team All-Academic honors in 2014 as a junior.
Cheatham and the Bears enter the National Championships as the top ranked school. The 2015 National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association National Championships are April 23-25. The NCATA National Championship is a single elimination tournament. Competition occurs over three days which national champions declared for both the overall team and individual event champions.
Cheatham qualified for four events at the 2014 NCATA Individual Championships. This is her fourth year competing on the Baylor University Acrobatics and Tumbling team. She is majoring in child and family studies.
