Our U.S. History students in Mr. Boer’s class started a new, innovative project this week. Students pick from one of 32 people involved in the American Revolution and prepare a short speech to influence their classmates that their individual is the most influential.

Classes select between two individuals after the speeches and the winner of the in-class vote advances to the next round, where the process is repeated with a new speech. By the end of the unit, the classes will crown a champion as the most influential figure in the American Revolution.
