Valley Christian Schools is proud to announce that Carson Grier is a top 10 Arizona high school basketball player. This incredible honor comes as a recognition of Carson Grier’s outstanding performance throughout his four years at VCS, solidifying his place as one of the top players in Arizona high school basketball.
The 6’7″ senior has been a cornerstone of the Trojans’ basketball program, contributing significantly to the team’s success and achieving numerous personal milestones. Most notably, Carson and his brother recently reached the 1,000-point mark in their basketball careers, cementing the Grier family as the all-time leading scoring family in Valley Christian basketball history. Congratulations to the Grier family for this incredible achievement, which surpasses the Timmer family’s record!
Carson’s excellence on the court is further exemplified by his performance in leading the Trojans to victory in the Copper Division state championship, marking the school’s fourth consecutive title. In a memorable game, he scored 20 points, dished out seven assists, and grabbed four steals. His shooting was on point, hitting 7 of 14 shots and making 6 of 11 free throws, all while showcasing leadership and vision that helped secure the championship.
This recognition as one of the top 10 Arizona high school basketball players is just the latest in a series of accomplishments for Carson Grier, who has proven himself not only as a talented player but as a dedicated leader and teammate throughout his time at Valley Christian.
