Chandler, AZ – Valley Christian High School announced a return of the S.H.A.R.E. Campaign Tuesday, a student-led fundraising effort for the Financial Aid and Scholarship fund.

Through the S.H.A.R.E. Campaign, donors can purchase “shares” of Valley Christian for $104 (VCHS share) or $365 (Gold VCHS share), and each dollar raised is used for financial aid.

“The S.H.A.R.E. Campaign was a big part of our fundraising efforts from 2004 through 2008, and I have no doubt the newest members of the Valley Christian community will be excited to participate,” said Allan Alvarado, Director of Business Affairs, who helped to run the previous iteration of the S.H.A.R.E. Campaign and will be involved once again. “This Campaign reiterates that a big part of our development efforts includes providing affordable education to current and future VCHS students and families.”

Valley Christian students are incentivized to get involved, making the S.H.A.R.E. Campaign a rewarding experience for donors and students alike.

Students who sell 7 VCHS shares or 2 Gold VCHS shares are invited on a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm and are excused from a day of classes on Friday, November 13th. Additional prizes include the opportunity to win an iPad Mini, Xbox One, gift cards, an Apple Macbook Air, and more.

“Getting the students involved in raising funds for Financial Aid is a no-brainer and a win-win for everyone involved,” remarked Troy Thelen ’03, the school’s Legacy Director. “Our community is continually looking for ways to engage with VCHS, and there’s no doubt this is a meaningful way for them to do so.”

The S.H.A.R.E. Campaign will run officially from Wednesday, September 30 through Wednesday, November 11. More information can be found on valleychristianaz.org/Share.
