Valley Christian High School is excited to announce the addition of alumna Kelsey Moore ’08 to the Development staff.
Kelsey, who played volleyball at UTEP before completing her degree at ASU, joins the staff as the Development Assistant. Kelsey will play a big role putting together events like Homecoming, the Legacy Golf Tournament, and the Legacy Auction, and will support the Valley Christian Volunteer Community, alumni, fundraising, and more.
“Tina Kidd and Kristi Majercak have done a wonderful job in recent years of moving our events and other Development needs in the right direction,” Legacy Director Troy Thelen remarked. “Adding a well-qualified alum to this role is only going to help our alumni engagement, and I couldn’t be more excited about the work Kelsey is going to do for Valley Christian.”
Kelsey’s most recent professional experience involved working on Christine Jones’ gubernatorial campaign as an Event Planner, Coalitions Assistant, and Scheduler. Kelsey has also worked with Thalas Leadership Collaboration Center and participated in Miss USA as Miss Texas USA in 2010. Kelsey was the freshman volleyball coach at VCHS in 2011. She is happily engaged and plans to tie the knot in January 2016.
