Biography
Savannah is an alumna of Woodland High School in Woodland, Alabama. She earned her Associate Degree of Science at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama in 2016, and Bachelor’s Degree of Education with a focus in English Language Arts at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama in 2019. Savannah married her husband, Colby Freeman, in June of 2019.
Savannah was born and raised in a small town in East Alabama before moving to the Valley in 2022. She worked as a junior high school English and Social Studies teacher at Oak Creek Elementary School in Cornville, Arizona in 2019-2020. Savannah taught English at Mingus Union High School in Cottonwood, Arizona in 2020-2021, and World Literature at Jones County High School in Gray, Georgia in 2021-2022.
Savannah loves the great outdoors including hiking, traveling, and kayaking. She also enjoys visiting her extended family in Alabama and Georgia and cheering on her favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves. Savannah serves as a volunteer at Christ’s Church of the Valley’s Chandler campus with the junior high students where her husband serves as the students pastor.
