Biography
Alyssa was born and raised in the sunny state of Arizona, where she lives with her family. She attended Valley Christian Schools for high school, graduating in 2018. At Valley, she found a lifelong community that built and grew her faith, as well as many new passions, including mathematics. Alyssa went on to attend Grand Canyon University, graduating in early 2022 and started teaching at Valley in the fall of the same year.
Alyssa loves to spend time with her family and her dog Levi, play guitar, read, watch Anime and hockey, and go on vacation to Disneyland with her mom.
Alyssa is currently serving as the Geometry teacher for the high school campus. Alyssa finds immense joy in serving at Valley as an Alumni teacher, sharing her excitement with students the amazing wonder of mathematics and how it illuminates the Lord’s creation.
