Biography
Julie grew up in Southern California before moving to Arizona in 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University, Chico. She then spent over 10 years doing medical and dental sales before making the decision to be a stay-at-home mom.
Julie has a passion for children. She has been serving in the children’s ministry at her church for 7+ years, and has also done a fair amount of substitute teaching over the last several years- most often with grades K-2nd. She started subbing for VCS at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, and felt God’s calling to continue working with children when returning to full-time work. She loves teaching kids about Jesus, and is excited to be the new kindergarten aide, and also part of the Valley Christian family.
Julie and her husband Todd have been married for 7+ years and have two children – Landon and Dylann who both attend the Elementary School. In her free time Julie enjoys family hikes with their dog Sedona, riding her bike, going to the gym, game nights, and watching her kids participate in whatever activity or sport they are currently signed up for.
