Biography
Jay is a native of Arizona and graduated high school from McClintock in 1979. He has coached wrestling for the past 32+ years, with 20+ of those years at Valley Christian. Jay has also coached softball for 15+ years at Valley Christian. He has three daughters that have graduated from Valley Christian. All three of his daughters are married and have given him five grandchildren – three boys and two girls. Jay married his wife Linda in 1982 and will celebrate 40+ years of marriage on May 7.
Jay wrestled with a team called Athletes in Action as part of a ministry with Campus Crusade for Christ from 84 to 88. Jay has also trained for two Olympics. Jay’s hobbies include coaching and most of all, spending time with his grandkids and watching them play sports.
