Biography
Charmain was raised in the Midwest and earned her bachelor degree in Elementary Education at the University of Minnesota at Mankato. She fell in love with the desert climate while on vacation in college. Since that time, she has made Arizona her home for more than 40 years. She has spent her entire teaching career in Christian education and is very passionate about helping children grow both spiritually and academically.
Charmain and her husband Lee have three grown children as well as an incredible son-in-law and enjoy visits to California where their children all currently live. She and her husband recently became grandparents of twin boys.
In her free time, Charmain enjoys strolling through bookstores and antique shops. She also loves to hike, bake and read historical fiction. Charmain has a fascination with National Parks and makes it a priority to visit any park when nearby.
Prior to teaching at Valley Christian, she taught 5th grade at Bethany Christian School.
