Biography
Janine was born in Orlando, Florida. Janine has lived in Arizona since the fourth grade. She grew up in Prescott, Arizona, moved to Flagstaff for a couple years, and then has been in the Valley ever since. She graduated with her Registered Nurse degree in 1990.
Since graduating, she has worked in everything from OB, delivering babies, to the Cardiac floor, to the Emergency Room, and served as the school nurse at Bethany Christian School for 12 years. Janine has been with Valley since the opening of the Elementary campus in 2019.
She’s been married to her husband Kevin since November 1996. Her husband is a nurse as well. They have one son, Jeremy, who graduated from ASU with his Registered Nursing license also. He graduated from Valley Christian High School in May 2018. Janine has two furry kids, Ellie (German Shepherd) and a year-old German Shepherd puppy named Lucy.
Janine’s son Jeremy just got engaged to Mrs. Sawyer’s daughter, Kenzie, in February 2025 and they will be married December 2025. Keep praying for your children and their future spouse (even when they are so young). Both Jeremy and Kenzie have known each other since 1st grade at Bethany Christian and went through Valley Christian High School together. God is good!!
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, spending time with friends, Bible study, hiking, paddle boarding, traveling, exercising, and shopping.
