The Palm Lane CRC Generations Scholarship

The Palm Lane CRC Generations Scholarship Fund testifies to the legacy and generosity of the people from Palm Lane Christian Reformed Church. Palm Lane CRC parishioners were consistently generous to the mission of Christian education and have demonstrated this over many years. The Palm Lane CRC Generations Scholarship Fund will ensure that this legacy is not forgotten and will continue to support Christian education.

This scholarship is for current kindergarten to 12th grade families who demonstrate a financial need, a dedication to their local church, and a long-term commitment to Christian education.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

Financial need-based scholarship for a current VCS family.

 

AWARD AMOUNT

$1,000, one-time scholarship, to be awarded and distributed annually.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Applicants will be K-12 families with students currently enrolled at VCS.  Dedication to a local church is a pivotal part of this scholarship criteria.
  • Applicant families must have a FACTS Grant and Aid application completed and on file for the school year the scholarship applies.

    • Our FACTS ID# 25408 is and our District Code VCHS-AZ.
  • An essay is required from the student’s parent(s) as part of the application criteria.
    • Parent(s) should complete an essay (up to 300 words) describing the family, the financial need, their dedication to their local church, and their passion for Christian education.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY

  • Complete the form below.
  • The application window is from November 1st to January 31st.
  • The recipient will be notified by the end of February.
  • The scholarship will be awarded by the end of May.
  • This scholarship is for a student’s VCS tuition. If necessary, the scholarship may be credited to the following school year.

Please note: The award may be credited toward the family’s overall school balance.
